Nancy, our 4 year old 10 pound chihuahua mix, loves bed time. Her favorite spot is under the covers, curled tightly against her person's feet. Before it's time to sleep, Nancy enjoys being read to. That is, as long as it's a story with a happy ending. <br/><br/>Found stray and injured, we took Nancy in to help her heal. She had sustained a broken pelvis after being hit by a car. Although the fracture could not be surgically repaired, Nancy has recovered well with rest, and she now moves around like nothing happened. <br/><br/>Nancy's foster describes her as extremely charming. She is quiet, crate trained and good with both dogs and cats. When Nancy needs to go outside, she makes a series of funny noises to get her foster's attention. Generally, Nancy is an attentive, expressive dog who loves to cuddle. She self entertains with little squeaky toys and is great on a leash when it's time for a walk. <br/><br/>Nancy is heartworm negative and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives.
