Nana (LA)'s Story

Nana, photo 1Nana, photo 2Nana, photo 3Nana, photo 4
Meet Nana! This sweet girl has already been through more than her fair share, and now shes ready to find the loving family she deserves. At 7-8 years old and 55lbs, Nana is an adult dog thats well past her days of chewing things inappropriately or annoying puppy behaviors. She is ready to live the rest of her life with comfort and care that she deserves.

When Nana was found, she was weaving in and out of traffic, desperately trying to navigate the busy road on her own. A Good Samaritan stepped in to help her, and extensive efforts were made to find her family. Because Nana was so underweight, it was assumed she had been lost for quite some time. No one came forward to claim her, but Nana never lost her faith in people—and thankfully, her next chapter is just beginning.

Nana is a loving, easygoing hound who fits beautifully into families with well-socialized dogs, but could also be an only dog. She enjoys canine companionship and would love to have a furry friend to share her new life with. Nana absolutely loves children and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes her a wonderful family companion.

And if youre looking for a walking buddy, Nana is your girl! She is an excellent walker and truly enjoys getting out and exploring with her people. Whether its a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or on a new trail, Nana is happy just to be by your side.

After everything she's been through, Nana deserves a family who will make sure she never feels lost or forgotten again. She's ready to leave her days of wandering behind and spend the rest of her life surrounded by love, companionship, and the people she can finally call her own. Could Nana be the missing piece in your family? Nana is being fostered in Rayville, LA.
