Nana's Story

Meet Nana | Apply Here

This sweet girl is Nana, a 3 year old and 40lb Jindo mix that we rescued from Gangneung Shelter in South Korea. As soon as we spotted her, she was wiggling her entire body and simply so excited to see our team. With the overcrowding in provincial shelters, Nana was kept on a chain in a covered outdoor space alongside other medium sized dogs.

Since her rescue, her sweetness has only gotten stronger. Nana is eager to please and full of affection, often giving little kisses anywhere she can to humans she trusts. She can be a little shy at first and cautious but once she knows you're safe she's an absolute love bug.

Nana has been navigating the snow with curiosity and confidence! It's almost like she's never seen this much snow before, but nothing stops her from climbing snow banks and trotting along the cleared paths. Inside she's doing very well with crate and house training - she does prefer a large blanket to lounge rather than a dog bed though.

Nana would do best in an adult only household.

She would be so excited to meet you, and will probably do a full wiggle if you call her name! Pre-approved applicants can set up private meet and greets with Nana, or any of our dogs, throughout the week! View her story here.

You don't have to wait for an adoption event.
