Namu (Courtesy Post)'s Story
COURTESY POST! Phoenix, AZ.

Email us info@twodogfarms.com & we will connect you to his owners:

"Namu" 2 yrs old, 30-40 pounds; Not neutered; Up-to-date on all vaccinations; No known medical issues. Last vet check-up was 10/30/2024.
Namu is gentle & does well with men, women & children. Initially shy & skeptical around strangers (both men & women) but warms up quickly once he has become familiar with them.
Haven't seen how he interacts with other animals.
We feed him twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Unfortunately, our family has not been able to take him out on walks as much as he needs—he's been neglected in that area and would benefit from regular exercise with his new family.
He is not housetrained.
He knows sit, lay down, and give paw by command.
He enjoys walks but needs an experienced handler who can earn his trust first before leash training really progresses.
We haven't had much experience walking him around other dogs. Namu is sweet and enjoys being petted once he trusts you. He's playful and gentle, and he loves having his belly rubbed—he'll often roll over on his back to ask for one!
No known sensitive areas, though he can be cautious during initial handling until he feels comfortable.
He can be lifted and picked up, though he typically rolls over on his back when you go to pick him up. He does experience anxiety during car rides and vet visits, which causes him to drool intensely during transport.
He has been in fights with his littermate that have escalated in severity, but he has never bitten people. He is not aggressive with humans & has no food aggression.
No separation anxiety or other behavioral issues. We saw a flyer at a Korean restaurant advertising Jindo puppies for sale.
We contacted them and purchased Namu & his sibling from a Korean family who owned Jindos and were selling puppies from the litter. We've owned him for two years. While the siblings get along most of the time, their fights have become increasingly frequent and serious. We've tried many approaches to make it work, but we're concerned they will seriously hurt each other. Rehoming one of them is the best solution for both dogs' safety & well-being.
