NAMI's Story

Meet the beautiful gem, Nami!

At just 2 years old, this precious girl has already proven she's stronger than she ever should have had to be.

When Nami was found, she was suffering from a broken leg. Thankfully, an incredible Good Samaritan stepped in, made sure she received the medical care she desperately needed, and covered every expense to help this sweet girl get back on her paws. Because of that kindness, Nami now has the chance she's always deserved—a forever family.

Her leg healed a little crooked (we like to think it just adds character! ), so she isn't the best match for rough-and-tumble play with other dogs. But don't tell Nami that! She zooms around, plays, explores, and lives life with pure joy. Nothing seems to slow this happy girl down.

Nami loves other dogs and enjoys hanging out with her friends at ARF while she waits for her family to find her. She's also a world-class snuggler and would be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only pup. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch or following you around the house with those sweet eyes, she's happiest just being close to her people.

Because of her previous injury, we'd love to see Nami go to a home with older children who can help keep her safe and comfortable.

Nami has already overcome so much.
