Nami's Story

Nami was found by the local police department as a stray and held at Valhalla rescue until her strayhold was up. She is a affectionate loving little character that at one time must have been greatly loved by her person. She loves to play fetch with her tennis ball and can be very playful and rambunctious with other small dogs that she has made friends with. In the beginning she can be a little standoffish with new dogs but focuses on humans right away. She does have some separation anxiety and although she is good when left alone she does miss having humans around and is very excited when we come home.

We think Nami would like a home with retired or semi-retired people that have the opportunity to take her on trips with them and make her a intricate part of their family. She is good with kids and cats and like I said she is okay with other animals but prefers to be a lap companion.

If you are looking for a small dog that will easily fit for all your family adventures, then this is your girl. She is spayed microchipped up to date on all her vaccines and had a dental to remove a couple of loose teeth that can be seen in a couple of pictures.

Please visit our website at www.valhallarescue.org/adopt and submit an online application so that you can be considered to be nami's forever family.

Her adoption fee helps ensure that we can continue to help Strays and other dogs in need like nami. Thank you for considering a rescue dog as your future and forever companion.
