We cannot guarantee the breed of any animal in our care and the breed listed is simply our best guess based on observation.

If you're interested in adopting or having a one on one meet and greet, fill out an application by visiting safepawsia.org.

ADOPTION FEE: $300

GOOD WITH CATS: Yes

GOOD WITH DOGS: Yes

GOOD WITH KIDS: Yes

KNOWN COMMANDS: None currently

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING: No accidents in or around the house

KNOWN KENNELING: Kennels well and is quiet

KNOWN LEASH: Needs leash work

KNOWN LIKES: Pets/belly rubs, bones/toys, soft dog bed to snuggle up on, sitting outside to just watch her surroundings

KNOWN DISLIKES: Fearful of sudden movements & loud noises

FROM THE FOSTER: Nala is a very timid and cautious girl who is gaining confidence one day at a time.

When she first arrived, she wouldn't leave her kennel at all, but with time (& treats) has started to come out on her own time to walk the yard, get belly rubs, & make friends with her foster siblings. She enjoys being around other dogs & would do best in a home with at least one doggy friend to gain confidence. Young kids can be a bit too scary to her - so older (8-10+) kids would be best

She is slowly learning what it means to live in a home & is working hard on potty training (but she'll keep her kennel dry). She's still learning that a leash for walks is a good thing!

Nala needs a special home with people who will respect her space & be patient as she comes out of her shell - when she does finally warm up, she is all love!!
