Nala

Nala is just over a year or almost 2 as of June 2022. <br/><br/>Her previous owner bought her as a puppy and spent the first year plus in a backyard with no socialization. She is now with us, and we must board her as we have no big dog fosters. <br/><br/>She is such a lovely, sweet girl. She just wants to be near you and lay on her back to be pet on her belly. She needs strong hard toys. We got her fixed and noticed the skin on top of her nose was crusty and would bleed if she rubbed it. She has a skin auto immune disorder called Pemphigus. We are treating her with steroids and medicated baths one times a week. <br/><br/>She is a protective dog with people she does not know. Her previous owner said she was an Asian Shepherd Dog which is known as a an Alabay or Alabai; livestock guardian breed, which is not an option on Petfinder to use. <br/><br/>We are still getting to know her.
