Myra's Story

Hello, I'm Myra. I am the cutest, sweetest Bulldog mix you'll ever meet. I was found as a stray out in the country one day when a kind stranger picked me up. She wanted to badly to keep me, but they were moving into a tiny home and just couldn't take me with them.

I am shy at first; strangers can be a little overwhelming to me. I warm up quickly and turn into the loveliest, sweetest, most affectionate dog on the planet. I am not a confident dog; new places and sounds make me a little nervous, but as long as I'm with my person, I'm up for anything! I'd love a home with another dog, maybe a confident dog who can bring me out of my shell and show me how to actually BE a dog. I am calm and gentle, yet playful and eager. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a home with teenage kids or older. I am smart as they come and learn thing quickly; training will be a cinch, though I don't need much of that. I use a doggie-door to do my business outside, so house-training will be a breeze; just show me the door and out I'll go!

The fee to adopt Myra is $100; this includes: spay, vaccines, de-worming, HW test and a microchip. If you are interested in adopting Myra, please visit our website, www.arfhouse.org to fill out an adoption application. Once you have submitted your application, our Adoption Coordinator will follow up with any questions she might have, or to set up a time for you to meet Myra. **If you do not hear from us within 48 hours, please EMAIL: JENNALGLOVER@GMAIL.COM.

**Please note: Myra is currently at our facility in Sherman, TX.
