Mya's Story
"My-a doggie has a first name, it’s A.D.O.P.T.

My-a doggie has a second name, it’s ME, HEY LOOK AT ME!

Mya, like so many dogs in their “wisdom” years (you can tell, because she has gone Gandalf Grey) gets overlooked in rescue and we get it .... IF YOU’RE BLIND. Because otherwise how on earth could you not fall for this sweet thing? Sure, Mya is at an age where the bangers of her youth are grocery store muzak now - just like you! You’d rather pull out your own teeth than do anything but watch a movie on Saturday night? You’re in luck because that’s Mya’s favourite thing. All she needs is a sofa, some popcorn, and to be the Little Spoon and she’s living her best life. And once she gets to know you, Silly Mya will make her glorious appearance to entertain you.

Mya will share you with other dogs and even cats because she is the Queen of Smooth Interactions, but if you are a one-dog human she’d like that too – because she is just cool like that. If you like tucking a football sized dog under your armpit and toting her around like a Birken bag, all the better because all 9 tiny lbs of Mya likes that too. She doesn’t have much to say about anything, because her loving body language (she is great with all people too) says it all...although she falls pretty in love with her person and might make some sounds of sadness when you leave her behind at home, though she settles down pretty quickly. She is crate trained and sleeps in one at night, but she’d rather snuggle up with you in bed if you’re looking for some company.

TLDR: 10ish year old basically perfect chihuahua/terrier mix who loves everything and everyone is looking forward to being part of your family! Housebroken, vetted and a cutie cuter than any patootie. If you don’t snap her up you’re making a big mistake. Huge.
