When new friends arrive, she greets them with the enthusiasm of a dog less than half her age. She truly believes everyone she meets is her new best friend! She does settle nicely into a calm, happy snuggle in less than a minute. <br/><br/>She is already a total pro at home life. She is house-trained and will politely let you know she needs to go out by standing by the door or giving you the most endearing, big-eyed stare. She is fully crate-trained, though these days she loves sleeping like a queen on her dog bed or snuggled up with her foster. She knows sit, down, shake (or high five), and touch. Plus, she has impeccable dinner etiquette and will patiently sit off to the side, waiting for her bowl to touch the ground before eating. She is also a quick learner, so if you'd like to teach her some new things, she's totally up for that! She rides beautifully in the car, perfectly quiet and ready for the next destination!<br/><br/>Muumuu loves going for walks. She is generally good on leash - until her nose takes over. She's a scent enthusiast who loves to lead the way once she catches an interesting smell. She does have a major weak spot for bunnies, squirrels, and deer. When she sees a critter, her inner hunter kicks in, and she'll give a spirited pull to try and chase them. With a little continued training, this is easily manageable.<br/><br/>While Muumuu hasn't lived full-time with another dog, she is actually quite the social butterfly. She has a terrific time at doggy day care, playing with other dogs, and has done wonderfully when visiting with our other rescue volunteers' pups. She could happily be your one-and-only spoiled princess, but she also has great potential to share her home with another canine companion.<br/> <br/>MuuMuu's dream home looks a little like this: A securely fenced-in yard for sunbathing and sniffing. A walkable neighborhood. An endless supply of belly rubs. A home with adults or kids ages 6 and up. While Muumuu is incredibly loving, the high energy and unpredictability of toddlers or toddlers-at-heart might stress her out a bit too much.
