Mustapha's Story

Mustapha is a strong 58pound black and tan hound mix with the confident stance of a dog who knows exactly what his nose is telling him. He's full grown handsome with that classic hound
charm on full display. This boy radiates happygolucky energy.
He's a natural explorer who is determined to understand the world one scent at a time. Mustapha would thrive with a big yard to roam and a family who appreciates his curiosity and zest for adventure. Whether it's a new trail, a new park, or just a new corner of the backyard, he's ready to investigate it with enthusiasm. He's a tailwagging, readytoroll kind of guy who loves new experiences and meeting new friends.
If you're searching for an adventurous companion who will happily join you for whatever you feel like doing, Mustapha is your boy. Reach out today and give this joyful explorer the forever family he's been waiting for.
*Sleepover feedback: "He's an absolute affection hound who loves having his ears rubbed. Every time we were near anyone, he would perk up, looking for some pets and sweet words. We didn't meet any strangers, including other dogs. He was always excited and not nervous around other dogs. He would do well with an active family that likes to explore. While he is an excellent napper, I think he truly thrives when out in nature. He has a curious spirit and wants to check out his surroundings. He had no issues with the crate and would go in there on his own at night.
*Additional feedback: " He is one of the sweetest and best-behaved dogs we've ever met. Mustapha remained patient and respectful of our senior dog's space. He showed wonderful social skills and self-control. He was wonderful in the car, walked beautifully on a leash and very much enjoys going for walks and hikes.

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
