Update on Mushy:<br/>His foster has done a remarkable job. Mushy went for another vet visit yesterday and he’s gained 20lbs since we rescued him. Yay! Mushy is housebroken crate and leash trained. He’s just a lazy middle aged guy and wants to play with his toys and get belly rubs. Mushy will need periodic cytopoint injections and to be kept on a strict dermatology diet. He received another cytopoint yesterday. And some antibacterial antimicrobial medication. Mushy is 60lbs of muscle and a quiet gentle giant with that massive squishy faced head. We rescued him along with a frenchie who had been abandoned in monroe both in horrific condition. I know we aren’t a big dog rescue but we couldn’t leave him and just take the frenchie as we knew the shelter would euthanize him. Mushys ideal home is alone with no dogs and a one or two person home with limited outside interactions meaning we don’t want your home to be one where you have people coming a lot. He does fall deeply in love with his family and become protective. We are not charging an adoption fee for Mushy. He is fully vetted and age is estimated to be 6 plus yrs old. The foster will help you with all her knowledge of what works as to food treats and how to keep his skin healthy. Please share with all your bulldog loving friends. Mushy is about 5 yrs old and might be a boxer/mastiff/bully mix. His name suits him to a T! One big lovable mushball. Loves everyone and everything he meets. Fabulous personality. Loves playing chewing riding running walking and lounging. Quiet housebroken crate and leash trained. His skin is also looking so much better. He’s in foster care and now ready for adoption. He was at least 20lbs underweight when found. His skin is healing as well as his ears. Mushy had everything imaginable wrong but his heart was always just appreciative and super loving. Mushy is a perfect gentleman with all dogs of any size. He’s a mushball and loves belly rubs or hard chew bones. Fairly gentle giant easy walker and crate trained. Doesn’t really bark unless he wants out to potty. Super smart dog. Mushy is about 5 yrs old and currently 50 lbs. we think he is a boxer mix but has shorter legs and walks like a hound dog. I’m sure he’s got some bully breed in there too. Mushy has one of those personalities you won’t forget and neither do people that meet him. I named him Mushy for a reason!
