After surviving a hoarding situation, he spent a full year in the shelter, and now has been bounced between foster homes. This sweet boy needs someone who will finally be committed to him for life. <br/><br/>Mushie is 2 years old, only 30 lbs, and incredibly dog friendly! He loves dogs of all sizes and enjoys wrestling and playing, while respecting dogs who aren't interested. He recently attended an adoption event and was the star of the show! He got along wonderfully with every dog and kept rolling onto his back to play with them.<br/><br/>He's also incredibly affectionate and easy to fall in love with. He loves crawling into your lap for cuddles and has been great with small children, including kids as young as 5.<br/><br/> More about Mushie:<br/>- Doing great with housebreaking<br/>- Sleeps quietly in his crate all night<br/>- Will bark for a while when crated and left during the day, but does eventually settle and is improving<br/>- Walks very nicely on leash<br/>- Rides well in the car, but can get nauseous after eating<br/>- Loves toys, cuddles and attention<br/><br/>Mushie can be shy with new people and may need a little time to warm up. Having a confident dog around seems to help him, and we think another friendly dog would be a great fit. <br/><br/>He did well with a confident, dog-savvy cat with slow introductions, but will chase shy cats who run. No cats may be best.<br/><br/>Mushie was rescued from a home in rural Arkansas with over 100 dogs (scroll to the end to see a photo)! Learning how to live in a home has been a whole new world. He's made so much progress and just needs stability, patience and a family who wont give up on him.<br/><br/>With his natural eyeliner, nub tail, goofy ears and loving personality, Mushie is truly one of a kind.
