Muscles is a 68lb bulldog sweetheart with a whole lot of charm and an even bigger heart. He came to us when his owner faced unexpected medical issues, and although the plan was for him to go back home, life changed — so now Muscles is officially looking for a forever family of his own.<br/><br/>This boy is friendly, peopleloving, and full of goofy bulldog personality. He snorts, snuffles, and wiggles his way right into your heart. Volunteers describe him as “a big strong baby,” “a perfect gentleman,” and “so stinking cute.” He enjoys toys, tugofwar, exploring the yard, and soaking up attention. He takes treats gently and loves riding in the car for little adventures.<br/><br/>Muscles is strong and can be a determined puller on leash, and he sometimes does surprise “ninja jumps” when he gets excited. He also needs encouragement going back into his kennel — treats and positive reinforcement help him tremendously. Despite his size, he’s been calm and uninterested around other dogs in adjacent runs and shows no reactivity.<br/><br/>Because he’s a brachycephalic breed, Muscles overheats easily and must have short outdoor sessions, especially in warm weather.
