Murray's Story

World meet Murray! A big happy hound mix gentle giant! Murray was born early summer 2023. He has been growing up in foster care instead of his forever home.
Murray will need to have a fenced yard. Land to run on and explore would be great for him. He is already chipped, potty trained, and up to date on shots.
Murray is very easy going and could be an only dog or live with one other dog. He loves being outside but loves hanging out in a fenced yard more than taking a walk. After all this time he is finally liking to go on daily walks. He is a home-body for sure so if you're looking for company to watch tv with, he's your guy. Would do great with kids 8 or older. Murray has met several small puppies during his foster stay and he LOVES them! He also loves small toys. He truly is a big gentle giant and so deserves to be loved in his permanent home!
From his foster:
Whoever adopts Murray must copy or imitate all that the foster home has provided.
We do a disservice to the dogs today when we move them without a list of likes and dislikes. Carrots: OMG Murray must have his daily carrot intake especially before bedtime.
Dislikes: No bed strong enough. Rips them to shreds but big warm heavy blanket’s - he loves them. Just throw them in the crate as he will place them perfect for him. Not always neat. Not always pretty but perfect for Mr Murray.
In the spring and summer 4 or 5 flat sheets and he’s a happy boy!!

He’s not a dog park dog. He’s not high-energy. He’s just pure love in a big package — and he deserves the world.
If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh, smile, and feel loved every single day — Murray is your boy.

**Breeds are a best-guess***
***If you are interested in adopting Murray, please fill out an application available on Destination Home Puppy Rescue's Facebook page or via the "More About Us" button on this page.***
***We only adopt to homes/families in NC and SC***
