Hi! My name is Murphy & I'm a 6 year old neutered tricolor beagle mix! I'm a very sweet boy! I'm so very lovable! I like to be with people. And so when someone is home, I will follow them all around the house! I also like to play! Fetch, ball & tug-of-war are my favorites! Especially BALL - I LOVE playing ball! Sometimes I get pretty excited around toys & I will jump pretty high to get a toy. So I might knock a small child down when I'm jumping like that. I'm an energetic fellow! But if my people just want to chill out on the couch, I'll be happy to chill with them. I lived with another dog, Gus, who is also available for adoption. We like each other, but we're not bonded - so it's totally fine for us to go to different homes. I'm good with children! Also, I'm good with cats! The cat who I used to live with liked it when I chased her around the house. Then she would chase me back! I'm also housetrained & crate trained. I'm used to going outside every 4 to 6 hours during the day. I will whine near the door when I need to go outside. If you don't pay attention, then I might come & whine in front of you. I like to sleep on the couch & hang out with my person! At night, I like to sleep in bed with my person. I'm used to eating my meals in my crate with the door open. I don't like it if another dog tries to eat my food. But it is ok for another dog to lick my empty food bowl. I know there isn't anything left. LOL It is best to crate me when no one is home - otherwise, I will find things to get into. I ride well in the car! I'm already neutered & up-to-date on vaccines. Now I just need a forever home!
