She is curious, independent, agile, and deeply loyal — a one-of-a-kind girl with a big personality!<br/><br/>Murphy loves to sniff and explore, and has a particular passion for searching for lizards and mice in tall grass. She enjoys off-leash hikes in quiet woods and loves jumping up on rocks and structures when out on adventures. She is not very toy-motivated, but she does enjoy wrestling and has a funny love for shredding paper in a good game of tug!<br/><br/>Murphy is smart and picks up new tricks easily. She is very well house-trained and bonds deeply with her people. She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once you earn her trust, she is incredibly sweet and loyal.<br/><br/>Murphy is an independent soul who prefers sniffing and exploring on her own over playing with other dogs. She can be nervous around crowds, loud noises, and visitors in her space, and has shown some reactivity toward other dogs and certain people. However, she has been making great progress through positive reinforcement training.<br/><br/>Murphy is deeply loved, but her current home is an apartment and she deserves more space to thrive. She would do best in a standalone home with a family who is often home, as she loves staying close to her people. Because of her sensitive nature and unique personality, Murphy needs an experienced dog owner who understands her needs and is committed to continuing her positive reinforcement training journey.<br/><br/><br/>Murphy is available for a foster-to-adopt arrangement!
