He arrived in terrible condition, extremely matted and clearly in need of some TLC. He had to be shaved down, but just look at him now! Underneath all those mats was a very handsome boy with the sweetest personality.

Murphy is 22 pounds of pure happiness! He is incredibly friendly, with a constantly wagging tail and a playful spirit. He LOVES chasing balls and running around, so an active family who enjoys playing and spending time outdoors would be a great match for him. A securely fenced yard would be ideal for this energetic boy!

Murphy is playful and could be a wonderful companion for a family with children who want a fun-loving pup to play with. He can do well with other dogs, but he's particular about his canine companions. He would do best as the only dog, or with a female dog or a submissive male who is a good match for him.

Murphy does well when his people are away, so you don't have to worry about him needing someone home all day. However, he doesn't enjoy being crated and would be happiest relaxing loose in the house or in a kitchen safely separated with a gate.

And there's even more to love—Murphy is housebroken! He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Murphy has already made quite a comeback, and now he just needs an active family who understands his needs and will show him how wonderful life can be. If you're looking for a happy, playful, affectionate Schnauzer who loves chasing balls and is ready to be your best friend, Murphy may be your guy!

Apply here: https://tinyurl.com/4u3tuy5c
-Due to the high volume of applications, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
