Murphy is a 6-year-old, 92-pound mixed-breed boy! Sure, this guy is big, but the biggest thing about him is the giant naps he's capable of taking. Get him a couch, a soft dog bed, or a warm patch of sunshine, and he’s happy to curl up for hours on end. Indoors, Murphy is a relaxed and low-energy boy. When outside, he loves to explore the yard and gently sniff his favorite spots. He walks very well on a leash and is happy to meander alongside you to soak in the fresh air.<br/><br/>Murphy previously lived in a home with kids, cats, and another dog. He's fantastic with children and cats, and he gets along well with calm dogs -- especially females! Since he's such a chill guy, Murphy prefers dog friends who enjoy a good nap more than a game of fetch.<br/><br/>Murphy is a confident, mellow boy who's potty-trained, kennel-trained, and absolutely adorable. He will make a wonderful addition to almost any family!<br/><br/>Murphy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at the shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
