I am a 4 year old Boston MIX and weigh 30 pounds. I was found as a stray and landed in a shelter. I am being fostered in Omaha, NE<br/><br/>I would do best in a home with a 6 foot fence and no other pets or just one dog that is similar in size.<br/><br/>I thrive in an active, engaged household that can continue building on the great progress I've already made. I am affectionate, social, and love being part of the action - whether thats playtime or curling up on the couch for cuddles. <br/><br/>I am smart and treat-motivated, so continued training will go a long way - especially on greeting people more calmly and learning a few additional commands (I know how to sit ... pretty impressive, right?). I'm comfortable in a crate for sleeping or when needed.<br/><br/>I live with two other dogs a quarter my size. Unfortunately I will not walk away if challenged so best if I am the only companion in the home or allowed to be alpha.<br/><br/>I am ready to be your loyal companion and continue to learn, if you have the time and patience.<br/><br/>Housetrained? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.<br/><br/>MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.<br/><br/>If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application<br/><br/>Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
