🐾 MEET MUGGSY -- A SURVIVOR LEARNING WHAT LOVE FEELS LIKE 🐾<br/><br/>Muggsy came to us from a house of pure horror. His past taught him that people were something to fear. When he first arrived, this sweet boy was terrified of human contact and unsure of the world around him.<br/><br/>But Muggsy's story isn't going to end with what happened to him. ❤️<br/><br/>Day by day, we have watched him change. He has discovered that hands can be gentle. That a leash can mean a peaceful walk instead of something frightening. That a bath can come with kind words and soft touches. Now, Muggsy seeks out the very thing he once feared most -- human contact.<br/><br/>He walks gently on a leash. He doesn't mind his baths. And every time someone patiently shows him kindness, another little piece of that frightened dog disappears.<br/><br/>Muggsy doesn't need anyone to feel sorry for him. He needs someone to choose him. Someone patient enough to continue showing him that his past is over. Someone who will give him a soft bed, gentle hands, quiet reassurance, and the security of knowing he will never have to be afraid in his own home again.<br/><br/>❤️ Muggsy survived the worst of people.
