Thank you for your cooperation.<br/>NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION<br/><br/>NEW INTAKE 5/26/2026: Muggs - male - approx 4 years old - 8.6 pounds - Chihuahua mix<br/><br/>Reason for intake: Muggs came to us from animal control. This poor little dude has what appears to be either an underdeveloped eye or an eye that was injured. The eye is not sewn shut. He's heading to our vet the week of 6/1/2026, to address the non-existent eye and sew the opening shut and for neutering and everything else he needs. He is already a favorite at the rescue!<br/><br/>NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note... we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
