MUCHACHO

Muchacho is an 8-year-old, 72-pound gentleman with an exceptionally gentle spirit. This sweet angel walks politely on leash, keeps his kennel tidy, and enjoys friendly attention once he feels comfortable. He was wonderfully patient during his examination, standing calmly for handling, medical care, and even a nail trim. Muchacho may move a little stiffly, but he still has plenty of love to give and would be delighted to trade the commotion of shelter life for leisurely strolls and a soft place to rest.

Muchacho has received surgery to address his eye concerns, and his irritated skin and hair loss have been improving. His experience with children, cats, and other dogs is unknown, so thoughtful introductions will help everyone start successfully. Muchacho is looking for someone who will appreciate his quiet sweetness and give him the comfort every good older dog deserves. In return, his adopter will gain a polite, tenderhearted companion who has already shown how gracefully he accepts kindness.

All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet .
