Spayed Female<br/>Pit Bull (Possible Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix)<br/>Est. 2 yrs old, ~50 lbs.<br/>Chestnut with White Accents<br/>Heartworm Negative/On Prevention & Flea/Tick Prevention<br/>Microchipped<br/>Vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella (Bronchi-Shield III)<br/><br/>Good with adult men & women: Yes<br/>Good with cats: NO<br/>Good with smaller dogs: NO<br/>Good with larger dogs: Maybe, case by case basis<br/>Good with children: Unknown/not observed with kids<br/><br/>Meet Ms. Red, found on the street in Lower 9th Ward in mid August 2021, now spayed & vaccinated, on flea/heartworm prevention, estimated 2 yrs old, 50lbs. <br/><br/>No one has come forward as her owner after being at the LASPCA, posting online & signs in the area found, & we’re trying to find her a permanent home where she can be an only pet with a secured private yard (not an apartment complex), or maybe be a little sibling to another larger dog.<br/><br/>She’s super sweet to people, allows her nails trimmed, teeth brushed and baths with minimal fuss, house trained/crate trained. Knows how to sit, shake and wait for her food. She does not really understand playing with dog toys yet and her general temperament (when not meeting a new person or observing other animals) has been aptly described as Eeyore platypus.<br/><br/>She may be good with larger dogs on a case by case basis (she gets along great with our larger neutered male dog) but definitely not cats and has shown aggression toward smaller dogs. <br/>Ms. Red has not been observed around children.<br/><br/>We can transport to an approved rescue up north or an approved adopter. <br/><br/>Currently located in Louisiana.<br/><br/>To apply for adoption:<br/><br/>https://form.jotform.com/201426507771150
