Soft, sweet, and beautifully mellow and for a long time, I lived in a place that didn’t feel like a home.<br/><br/>Now I am happy, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready for adoption. I am travelling from Southern California to State of Washington by the end of November to stay with my foster family. I can travel to Vancouver, BC too if there is a potential adopter for me. But I wasn’t alone. My very best friend in the whole world, an old chubby Chihuahua with a gray muzzle and warm eyes, lived with me. We relied on each other. We kept each other company. We survived together.<br/><br/>He was my comfort…<br/>my family…<br/>my everything in that dark place.<br/><br/>When we were finally rescued, I was so matted that the kind people who saved me had to shave my entire body just to free me from the knots and pain I’d been carrying for so long. But underneath all that, they found… me — a soft, sweet, gentle girl who had just been waiting for someone to care.<br/><br/>My little Chihuahua companion didn’t make it.<br/>His body was too tired, too worn from the years we endured together.<br/>I miss him every single day.<br/><br/>But now… I’m trying to learn how to live again — how to feel safe, warm, and loved on my own. And my rescue says I’m doing beautifully.<br/><br/>Who I Am Today<br/><br/>Even after everything, I’m still full of love.
