I’m a 3-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, about 43 lbs, happy, playful, and full of love. My heart is big — big enough to love adults, kids, and every friendly pup who crosses my path.<br/><br/>But the biggest part of my heart belongs to Wolfie.<br/><br/>Wolfie isn’t just my friend… he’s been my whole world. We were left on the streets with no idea where to go. We stuck together because we had nothing else — only each other.<br/><br/>Some days were scary. People didn’t always understand us. We were chased away, yelled at, even hit with rocks just for being there. I used to look at Wolfie when my heart pounded with fear, and he would stand beside me, calm and steady, as if telling me, “We’ll be okay, Kendi. I’m right here.”<br/>And we always stayed side by side.<br/><br/>One day, when things were getting really dangerous, a kind rescuer was called. He rushed to us, scooped us up, and brought us to safety in his garden. I still remember the feeling of stepping into a place where no one wanted to hurt us. It felt like the first breath after holding it for too long.<br/><br/>But we don’t have a real home yet. We stay outside, since his family dog doesn’t accept other pups inside. And with winter coming, the nights get colder and colder. I curl up next to Wolfie for warmth, but we dream of something more… a home with soft blankets, gentle voices, and people who see us as family.<br/><br/>I’m a joyful, affectionate girl who loves to play, run, and soak up all the cuddles I can get. My energy shines, but so does my sweetness. Sometimes I get a bit too excited and jump up for hugs, or I get mouthy when I play — but I’m learning, and I’m eager to keep learning with someone patient and loving.<br/><br/>I’m good with dogs, good with kids, and I’ve even been kind with cats. I listen well, walk nicely on a leash, and try my very best to be a good girl every day. I’m smart, loyal, and want nothing more than to make my person proud.<br/><br/>More than anything…<br/>I dream of a home where Wolfie and I can stay together. We’re soul-friends who survived the world side by side. Being adopted together would mean everything to me.<br/><br/>But if life doesn’t make that possible, I’ll be brave.
