Mrs. Beasley's Story
Meet Mrs. Beasley!

Mrs. Beasley is a charming 2-year-old English Bulldog weighing 40 pounds. She was found as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed — but this sweet girl is ready to find her forever family!

Mrs. Beasley is a gentle and affectionate companion who loves attention and enjoys playing with toys. Although she has done well with other animals in her foster home, she was recently adopted and returned for growling at the resident senior pug so we are seeking a home as an only pet at this time. She would likely do well in a home with older, dog-savvy children who understand her needs and temperament. Mrs. Beasley's weakness is stuffed animals, and she will assume that every stuffie is hers.

This smart girl has demonstrated good house manners and is crate trained. She rides well in the car, making trips together enjoyable. While she tends to pull on leash walks, using a harness can help, though a securely fenced yard is our preference to give her plenty of safe space to explore and play. Mrs. Beasley is NOT suited to being tethered.

Because she's a brachycephalic breed, it's a requirement that her new family has experience with English Bulldogs and understands their sensitivity to extreme temperatures, keeping her comfortable all year round. She also has typical Bulldog traits including luxating patellas due to diluted breeding (extremely common in this breed). This is NOT a dog for a first time dog owner.

Mrs. Beasley is a relatively quiet girl who showers her family with affection. She's looking for a loving home that will cherish her furever.

Could your family be the perfect match for Mrs. Beasley's loving heart? She's ready to become your loyal and devoted companion!

Mrs. Beasley is:
Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies
Dewormed
Heartworm Tested: Negative
Receiving Heartworm and Flea Prevention
Microchipped
Spayed

ADOPTION FEE: $450

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. We make every effort to evaluate each animal's temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.

While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.

FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
