Mr. Milo's Story

Hi, my name is Mr. Milo! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Shy, quirky, energetic, playful, a little anxious
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history - recommending dog savvy kids 10+ at this time due to some nervousness. Up to counselor's discretion.
-Can Live with Cats: Mr. Milo successfully lived with cats previously, but was known to chase them occasionally. He'd likely do well with confident, dog savvy cats after slow and supervised introductions.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, please!!! Milo THRIVES in the company of other dogs and would really benefit from another canine companion around to make him feel safe, secure, and help show him the ropes! Milo has lived most of his life alongside his buddy Freya, and while the two do really enjoy each other's company, they are not required to be adopted together.
-Can do Apartment Living: No thanks! Mr. Milo needs a home with more space to explore, preferably a home with a fenced in yard!
-Potty Trained: Yes
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Not required
-Energy Level: Medium/High!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, good to go!

Meet Mr. Milo - a guy with great manners, a gentle personality, and an impressive lineup of tricks that reflect the time and care that’s been invested in him. Milo may take a moment to warm up, but with a little patience (and plenty of treats!), he settles in and shows off just how wonderful he is. While Mr. Milo and his buddy Freya arrived at the shelter together, they are not a bonded pair and do not need to be adopted together. They would each do well in homes that can offer them love, stability, and continued support as they adjust and thrive. Whether adopted together or separately, Mr. Milo and Freya are sure to bring companionship, plenty of laughs, and lots of love into their future homes. If you're interested in meeting one (or both!) please fill out an application for review!
