Every day, I woke up surrounded by trash, loud machines, and the smell of things nobody wanted anymore. I used to wonder if that’s what I was too… something unwanted.<br/><br/>But even there, in that noisy, scary place, I never stopped hoping.<br/>I always believed someone would find me.<br/>Someone would see me.<br/>Someone would love me.<br/><br/>One day, rescuers came — and when they reached out their hands, I didn’t run. I walked straight to them. Because even though my life had been hard, my heart had never closed.<br/><br/>I still wanted to trust.<br/>I still wanted to love.<br/>I still believed in people.<br/><br/>Now I’m clean, safe, warm… and my whole world has changed.<br/><br/> Let me tell you about who I am:<br/><br/>I’m a gentle boy. I really am.<br/>I love every person I meet — men, women, kids… my tail starts wagging right away.<br/>I like other dogs too, and cats don’t bother me at all.<br/>I’m just happy to be beside someone who’s kind.<br/><br/>I love being pet and cuddled.<br/>I love walks — I’m very good on a leash.<br/>I love affection, playtime, and soft voices that make me feel safe.<br/><br/>I don’t bark or cause trouble.<br/>I don’t try to escape.<br/>I don’t get scared when left alone (especially if other dogs are with me).<br/>I ride in the car like a champ.<br/>I’m learning the potty rules — I try my best, but I may make a mistake at first.<br/>I promise I will learn quickly… I just need someone to teach me gently.<br/><br/>? I may be small, but my heart is big.<br/><br/>I’m 26 pounds — just the right size for hugs and cuddles.<br/>And even after everything, I still believe the world is a beautiful place.<br/>I still believe my family is out there looking for me.<br/><br/> I was once surrounded by trash…<br/><br/>but I know I am treasure.<br/>I know I am worthy of being loved.<br/><br/>All I want now is a home.<br/><br/>A person who will love me the way I’ve always dreamed of being loved.<br/>A family I can follow from room to room, tail wagging softly.<br/>A warm bed, a gentle hand, and a heart that has space for a little dog who’s survived a lot — but still loves deeply.<br/><br/>If you choose me, I promise I will give you every bit of my love, for the rest of my life.<br/>I’m ready to belong to someone.<br/>I’m ready to start my forever chapter.<br/><br/>Love,<br/>Chancy
