Mr.Buttons is about 8 yrs old and as sweet as his name. He has the most adorable underbite - earning him the nickname "Meerkat", which only got enhanced when he lost a few teeth during his intake dental/neuter appointment.<br/><br/>He is fully housetrained, gets along well with other dogs that he knows, ignores  most cats, can live with children of any age. He is clingy and loves to follow you around the house, sit on your lap when you sit and loves to be held. He's more of a parallel companion to the dogs in the house than a wrestling or chase partner, and ignores toys. We have recently learned that his leash manners could use some improvements, as he has surprising determination to pull on leash and greats other walking dogs, rather loud and rude.<br/><br/>Mr.Buttons would love to find a rather quiet home with someone home a lot that doesn't mind a constant companion. He can live with other parallel dogs or cats, he's not picky. He has low to moderate energy in the house, and is very well behaved. Outside walking on leash is a higher energy story, he is still learning not to pull or to loudly object to other dogs near him, but is easy going and quiet in his own yard, so he is looking for home with a private yard for him to enjoy, rather than an apartment type setup when he has to walked on leash multiple times a day.<br/><br/>***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
