Meet MR. BEAN this SATURDAY, JULY 25 from 12 to 3PM at our PET ADOPTION EVENT at the MERRIAM PETSMART located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. Well have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart! ALSO THIS WEEKEND: SATURDAY, JULY 25 from 12 to 3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! WEEKEND SHELTER HOURS FOR ADOPTIONS: SATURDAY, JULY 25: CLOSED (Visit our pet adoption events!) SUNDAY, JULY 26: OPEN 10AM to 3PM, NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED! KCK Animal Services is located at 3301 Park Drive, KCK. ----------- Meet MR. BEAN! He is sooooo sweet! Mr. Bean loves carrying around his little stuffed toys (without ever tearing them up!) and happily chews on his favorite little Nylabones. He's the kind of dog who's content just hanging out with his people, and somebody is going to be so incredibly lucky to call this little guy their own. Mr. Bean's story started with heartbreak. He was abandoned with several other dogs at a city park, where he was attacked by a pack of dogs. His injuries were so severe that one of his back legs had to be amputated. Today, this adorable little Chihuahua mix doesnt let having three legs slow him down one bit! He gets around like a champ, is potty trained, has wonderful manners, and is as sweet as they come. Mr. Bean has left his past behind—now all he needs is a family to give him the happy ending he deserves. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
