Moxie (Brindlesnoot Fuzzypants)'s Story

Meet Moxie — and yes, she absolutely lives up to the name. ✨🐾
At around 7 years old and a perfect 30–35 lbs, Moxie is the kind of dog who doesn’t just enter a room… she arrives. There’s a spark in her, a little swagger in her step, and a whole lot of personality packed into that petite frame. Life didn’t always roll out the red carpet for her, but she’s held onto her spirit — and now she’s ready for a softer landing.
Moxie is house trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed — basically, she’s checking all the boxes and then adding a little flair for good measure. She is heartworm positive, but don’t let that scare you — Wagon Tails Farm Rescue will cover her treatment at their local vet, so she just needs a family willing to stand by her while she gets back to feeling her best.
Because of her past, Moxie would prefer to be the star of the show as an only dog, or potentially share her home with a calm, respectful pup who understands the value of personal space. Think of her as someone who enjoys a peaceful coffee shop over a crowded party.
What Moxie really wants is something beautifully simple: a home where she can exhale, settle into a routine, and finally feel safe being her full, spunky self. A cozy spot on the couch, a predictable daily rhythm, and a human who sees her not just for her past, but for the loyal, lively companion she’s ready to be.
If you’re looking for a dog with heart, resilience, and just the right amount of sass… Moxie might be your girl. 💛

Head to wagontailsfarm.org/adopt to apply!
