Meet Mowgli
Mr. Mowgli is ready for his furever family! This boy is so sweet. He just turned 5 and came from North Carolina from a military family who couldn’t keep him. He is great with kiddos - my kids are 2 and 4, and he is generally good with my two dogs (but not the German Shepherd over the fence- he simply must bark at that one).
Mowgli is a typical velcro pup. He wants to be where you are. He loves to snuggle and at times he thinks he is a lapdog. He loves to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed, and frequently makes us laugh by just plopping over.
Mowgli is great on a leash and enjoys walking. If he sees other dogs he gets excited but doesn’t pull too hard. I’ve even walked him with my other two dogs at the same time and he did great. He doesn’t like thunder or loud noises like the vacuum, but his fear just makes him snuggly. He was very scared of the groomer when we took him, so he might need to ease into that. He does very well in his crate and is obsessed with treats. He knows basic commands and with a little consistency could be well trained. He has a quirk where he barks at new men he meets for about 3 minutes- then plops over for a belly rub ?
Mowgli is so lovey that you know his family must have loved him so much. He would make such a great addition to a family. He is ready for his furever home!
