Moses's Story

Meet Moses — our 116-pound “mini pony” disguised as a Great Dane!

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a horse but live in an apartment, Moses might just be your guy. This gentle giant is about a year old, stands roughly eye-level with your countertops (and yes, he knows it), and is basically a 120-pound puppy still figuring things out, including his long legs, he can be a total clutz on the stairs.

Despite his size, Moses is a total sweetheart. He loves everyone he meets — adults, kids, and dogs alike — and will happily lean his full weight on you for affection. Cuddling is his love language, though “lap dog” may be a bit of a stretch. He’s food-motivated, smart, and already learning the house rules. On walks, he’s a dream with his gentle leader harness (without it, you might be the one getting walked).

Moses is crate-averse and not yet house-trained, but he’s eager to please and quick to learn. He’d thrive with someone who appreciates a big, goofy breed and can keep up with his energy and training needs.

He’s not a fan of cats (he thinks they’re plush toys that move), so a feline-free home is best.

If you’ve got the space, the snacks, and the sense of humor to handle a 116-pound baby who thinks he’s small — Moses is ready to be your oversized shadow, couch companion, and loyal best friend.

If you would like to adopt this dog, please visit email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application!

www.pupstarzrescue.org
Please Follow us on Instagram: @pupstarzrescue
Like us on FaceBook! www.facebook.com/PupStarzRescue

PupStarz rescue cannot guarantee the breed, size, temperament, or age of any dog.

Please include your home area code and a phone number where a volunteer can reach you when contacting us about adoption

For more info on this dog and our adoption policies, visit MAGDRL at https://www.magdrl.org.
