Meet Mose

Meet Mose! This handsome, fluffy gentleman is around a year old and weighs about 47 pounds. He is as big as he’s gonna get, but make no mistake, Mose is still all puppy!
Housebreaking, Crate-Training, and Commands
Mose is such a good boy! He’s nearly got the hang of potty training and has only had one or two accidents since he came to his foster home! Mose is still working on crate training. He’s still working through some FOMO when he knows his people are hanging out without him, but will quickly calm down. When he knows that he’s about to be let out of his crate, he does a little dance because he’s just SO excited!
Mose is such a smart boy and already knows how to sit and lay down!
Behavior around other Dogs, Cats, and Kids
While we don’t know how Mose does with cats, we know just how great he can be with other dogs and kiddos! When it comes to dogs, Mose is a playing fiend! He’s still learning play etiquette, however, and is a little rough with his friends. He loves to wrestle and rough house but will listen if his friends aren’t in the mood to play. He will be a great dog park dog once he understands proper play etiquette.
Mose met some children at the local farmer’s market and he went belly up immediately to give them the best spot for pets! He is extremely playful with tiny humans and may benefit from being in a home with older children until he turns into less of a wrecking ball. Because he’s still a puppy, he does nip when playing so while we work on that it’s good to know if you have little people running around.
Behavior around People
Mose has never met a stranger! Every person he meets is his new favorite person in the world. He loves attention and is super motivated by the love his people give him. He is more than happy to be a snuggle buddy, or to just be a foot warmer while he chews a bone or toy.
Exercise Needs
Mose is a high energy dog. He will need regular exercise to keep him happy. Currently he has heavy duty play sessions outside and goes on 1-1.5 mile walks daily. He needs to be occupied when not in his kennel, whether it be a toy or a bone, as he’s just too interested in everything going on! He’d do best in a home that plans on actively engaging him, whether that be through frequent outdoor adventures or sport training!
Mose is in the perfect puppy but also adult stage of life and will be great for an individual or family willing to put the training in for him to be the perfect dog! Contact us today!
