ĀMorty is a newer arrival on our adoption floor and he has done an amazing job in settling in. Very friendly, welcoming and graced with a kind, gentle spirit, already many are smitten with our solid build, solid black 4 legged lover-boy. ĀPolite and great on the leash, Āhe's proven himselfĀas a wonderful addition in our doggy play groups. Ā Seamlessly mixing and mingling with a variety of other dogs, Āhe was poetry in motion and was clearly in his element! Just 10mos old and a teen on paper, Āhe's nonetheless a well behaved doggy who is a bit carefree, goofy and silly in his outlook on life. He's a FUN guy! ĀWhen he rolls over on his back, he just might be giving you the hint that a belly rub is desired/needed but that's about as pushy as he gets unless you count having his paws in your lap when you take a seat! LOL Take a walk in our kennel area and look for the broad grin and slightly coiled-over tail dancing over a blackĀlabby back and you'll know you've found MORTY.<br/><br/>Facebook Update May 21: Who had the busiest day yesterday??<br/>MORTY might raise his paw mighty high as he was going and doing and was such a great sport! ĀOn the list of activities: Āplay group, visit to Tractor Supply Co, modeling in an old style car and getting a bath!<br/><br/>**First off, he was invited to join in doggy playgroups where he was a hit. ĀHe's lovely networking, mixing and minglingĀwith other dogs and it's always great to see that 1/2 coiled over tail dancing over his hips!Ā<br/>**Next stop was a visit to theĀSeneca Tractor Supply Co. ĀDid he get swarmed or what? ĀThe staff loved seeing his big mushy face and enjoyed his soft, snuggly nature. ĀHe even scored a nice snack at the register from Staff Connie.Ā<br/>**Heading out the TSC doors and what did we find, but this amazingĀold style car! ĀThe couple were super welcoming and happily loaded Morty right up into the driver's seat. Way to go Morty!<br/>**Last but notĀleast was a much needed bath! ĀHe had a bit of funk to him but in no time we made the funk go away. Ā Of note, ĀMorty was super patient and calm in the tub!<br/>This multi-talented dog is ready to go home. ĀPlease come on by and ask to meet MORTY!!
