Morris Chestnut

Morris is in a foster home - not at the shelter. Please email his foster to set up a meet.

This is Morris — the 64-lb meatball you didn’t know you needed in your life! Morris clearly had a sad past and came to CBAS at the end of May in incredibly rough shape

With TLC from the staff and volunteers he made a full recovery - it’s truly quite the glow up. He upgraded to a foster home with a CBAS volunteer a month ago and is growing into a beautiful, well-mannered and affectionate gentleman. We have learned so much about him since busting out of the shelter!

- Estimated 3-5 years old (DNA age test pending)
- Crate-trained king
- Potty-trained
- Great leash walker
- Cat and dog friendly
- Excellent car passenger
- Currently acing his basic obedience class

He can be a little shy at times since his world got big quick; but he has become so much more confident in just a few weeks! Morris has been a big hit at adoption events with lots of people and dogs around, and this social butterfly has also been stealing hearts on the patios of North Buffalo with his foster family!

Morris is stoic but goofy, playful but also ready for a Netflix binge, and snuggly but independent. Simply put, he seems to read the room and match the vibes. Beyond all of his great qualities, Morris is a dog with a genuinely good soul

When he gently puts his paws on your lap and stares into your eyes, its hard to believe that someone could ever have been anything but kind and loving to him. He is so happy for simple pleasures like belly rubs or time rolling in the grass. We know his people are out there. Please help us find them!

If you think Morris is the dog for you
Email his foster mom, Sam, at mustlovedogs0429@gmail.com

And follow his foster journey on Instagram: @tuesdayswithmorris_fosterdog
