Morris's Story

For more information about my rescue organization and more pictures of me, see Pet Harbor's Web page. ADOPTED! Some people buy lottery tickets to take a chance at millions. All I want is a little chance. I'm a quiet boy, just a tad shy. I will warm up to you if you give me that little chance. You can even hear me try to tell you what I want because I love to talk. Even my talking is quiet and gentle, just like me. I'm great with children, cats, dogs, everything. I ended up at a rural Virginia shelter as a stray along with another dog. No one claimed me. So I went to Pet Harbor. Pet Harbor spent hours removing all my ticks. No, I don't have any dread diseases. The people who are taking care of me made sure of that. At only 47 pounds, I do need to gain some weight. I follow the teenager in my foster home around like I'm a little lamb. Maybe they should name me Mary? Toys scare me, but that's okay because I'd rather play wit people. Do you know what a play bow is? I do that. I don't get into anything in the house ether. All I do is lie by the door and wait for my foster family to come home. Since I've only been in foster care a few days, they can't say I'm housebroken for sure, but so far I have not had any accidents. I haven't done anything wrong at all, for that matter. That doesn't mean I won't once I really get settled in, but so far so good. And if you give me a chance, I promise to be an excellent boy for you, too. I was named for a hero. See Morris.
