Moose

Moose is a friendly boy who was brought to the shelter as a stray after being found in a campground. His beautiful eyes follow people as they walk by his kennel hoping he will be the next one to go out.

Moose plays hard in the yard and then relaxes in the nearest shady area. He leans in for petting and has the softest fur imaginable! Although he chases toys, he hasn't mastered the trick of returning them yet. Moose walks well on a leash and loves to be with people. At this point, he should be the only pet in the house.

Moose has the potential to be a fun and loyal companion for someone willing to give him a second chance in a home. Because he is a stray, it is difficult to know if he is house broken; however, he is a dog that seems to be interested in learning new skills and behavior.

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
This link will take you to our adoption application.
https://capemaycountynj.gov/DocumentCenter/View/5814/Adoption-Application
