Moose's Story

Meet Moose, AKA "The Best Boy Ever"! This 5-year-old, 87.5-pound Mixed Breed will capture your heart with that handsome face and big, brown eyes.

Moose is a friendly, happy, and incredibly easygoing boy who truly earns the title of “gentle giant.” He’s fully house-trained and does not use a crate in his foster home—he enjoys the freedom to sleep wherever he chooses, sometimes even cuddled up in bed with his people.

This super chill guy is happiest just hanging out at home, sitting close by for love and cuddles. Moose is quiet, loyal, and very people-oriented, with a knack for making himself right at home wherever he is. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, including his 3-year-old human foster brother. Loud noises and busy activity don’t phase him at all.

Foster mom describes Moose as the “best dog in the world,” a total snuggle bug who thinks he’s a lap dog. He’ll happily cuddle with kids or adults, gently paw at the door when he wants to come inside, and true to his charm, he’s a silent garbage can thief if given the chance.

Moose is adaptable, affectionate, and would make a wonderful companion for a family or individual looking for a calm, loving dog to share their home and heart

Moose is heartworm positive and has started treatment. Wish Bone will continue to provide treatment, whether it's through our vet or by providing medication to the adopter's vet.

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

For information about this dog's breed(s), visit:
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm

To fill out our adoption application, go to:
http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.htmll
