Meet Moose, a 7 year old Shih Tzu who weighs 16 lbs. Moose currently lives with a foster brother who is double his size, but that doesn't stop Moose from playing vigorously and showing him who is bosss. Moose has a strong personality and knows what he wants. But when he's done playing and taking long walks, he just wants to settle in by your side and snuggle. Moose is good with other dogs and friendly with people, but he will notify you loudly if someone suspicious is walking by your house! Moose would love a family who can show him a lot of attention and to whom he can return the favor with unlimited kisses and body and foot warming services. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home. <br/><br/>Current Adoption Fees Are:<br/>$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old<br/>$375+tax for ages 4-7<br/>$275+tax for ages 8 and up<br/>Bonded pairs vary<br/><br/>The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
