Moose's Story
Moose is a 7 year old, mixed breed. In October 2025, he was brought to the shelter after his original owner was no longer able to keep him. Moose is neutered, updated on his vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, and microchipped. He did test positive for Lymes, which he is currently being treated for.

This tall, dark, and handsome guy may be in his golden years, but no one told him that! Moose is an active boy with a love for adventure and cuddles in equal measure. He has a positive attitude and an eternally wagging tail that is sure to brighten up any day for whoever is lucky enough to take him home!

Moose does well with dogs that are his size or smaller, but would do best in a home with older children only. He is housetrained.

If you are interested in adopting Moose, please fill out an adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible. You are also more than welcome to stop in anytime during our regular business hour and meet Moose in person! Feel free to call the shelter at (814) 834-3247 if you have any questions.
