Moose's Story
Formerly known as Tuesday, Moose is a gentle Mastiff who came to us from CCAS after landing on the euthanasia list for being labeled “too timid.” Thankfully, someone took a second look — because Moose is anything but.

Now thriving in foster care, Moose has shown us he’s a sensitive, thoughtful, and incredibly loving boy with a quiet confidence that blossoms more every day. While he’s still underweight at just 76 lbs (he should be closer to 90+ lbs), he’s doing beautifully with proper nutrition and care and continues to gain strength. Shelter guessed him to be about 5years old while he seems younger more like 2-3.

Moose is making great progress with house and crate training and is very food-motivated — but always gentle. He’s eager to please and impresses everyone with how smart and trainable he is. Moose already knows sit and stay, and he’s currently working on shake like a pro.

In his foster home, Moose does well with other large dogs and is eager to continue socializing. He’s also been great with kids, showing his naturally calm, kind nature. While he may be a bit sensitive in new situations, he takes reassurance well and builds trust quickly with patient guidance.

Moose is looking for a patient, big-breed–experienced home that understands gentle giants and can continue helping him grow in confidence — and size. In return, he’ll give you unwavering loyalty, devotion, and the kind of companionship that only a dog who’s been given a second chance can offer.

Moose isn’t just ready for a home — he’s ready to be someone’s once-in-a-lifetime dog.
Help us give this deserving boy the future he’s been waiting for.

First Step Is To Apply Now
[Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application)
For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com.
