Moose's Story

Meet Moose! This sweet, sensitive 5-year-old boy is looking for a soft place to land and the chance to settle in at his own pace. Moose can be unsure of new people and situations, but with the right environment and time to decompress, he has the opportunity to build trust and let his personality come through.

Moose is looking for a quiet, adults-only home where he can be the only pet, ideally in a low-traffic neighborhood. His previous adopters noted that he can be wary of strangers and protective of valued items, so he’ll benefit from patient, understanding adopters who can give him space and help him feel secure.

Moose is available through Foster First, giving him the chance to leave the shelter, decompress, and get comfortable in a home before making things official. Could you be the calm, caring person Moose has been waiting for? Give him the chance to settle in, feel safe, and show you who he can be.
