Moon - Adoption Pening's Story
Introducing Moon!
Moon is an almost 5-year-old, neutered, 50lbs, male, Samoyed, who is currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. ? Moon is being rehomed due to his family not being able to afford caring for him.

His family wishes Moon will find a home where he is truly loved and cared for. Ideally, he would be in a household with access to the outdoors, so he can explore and play outside. An active family who enjoys hiking, traveling, or outdoor adventures would be wonderful. Most importantly, he deserves people who have the time and unconditional love to give, the same way he has shared his heart with his family over the past four years.

Moon has a history of eating socks and items which led to a bowel obstruction surgery previously. Then recently he gave us a scare when he ate something else, but luckily he was able to pass it after further inspection! Playing Again Sams was happy to work with his family to pay for his emergency services to ensure he was ok!

Moon’s new family will need to be mindful of items left on the ground and teach Moon how to be crate trained, or left in a safe space alone. It appears that boredom can lead to him eating things or getting into things he shouldn’t. Due to this Moon would likely do best in a home with adults and no small children as they could provide more opportunities for Moon to get a hold of items that he shouldn’t eat.

Moon is a very special dog. Like most dogs, he loves everything that has to do with the outdoors. He enjoys walks, going to the dog park, and playing fetch. He has lived with a yorkie before and he’s done well but they are unsure how he would respond to a cat or another small animal.

If you’re interested in adopting Moon - please fill out an application (or just email me if you have a current application on file)

Samoyed-rescue.com
