Monty will be attending our adoption event on Saturday, so let us introduce this good boy in advance. Monty is such a happy, sweet dog - he only wants to be loved. When he wants to show some affection he will come to you and lay his head on you - it is the most endearing thing <br/><br/>Monty checks the following boxes:<br/>-Good with dogs and kids<br/>-House trained <br/>-Working on walking on a leash nicely without pulling but doing great<br/>-Low energy <br/>-Loves car rides, belly rubs, giving kisses, and snuggling <br/>-knows sit command and will lay down when asked <br/>-no food aggression and we can take toys and bones away from him with no issues <br/>-doesn’t really jump so small kids would be okay. <br/>-barks when he hears something but once he sees what or who it is he stops. <br/><br/>Monty is 1.5-2 years old, weighs 50 lbs and is fully vetted. Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued dog from Big Dog Rescue Project! Please submit an adoption application at bigdogrescueproject.org/adopt to begin the process of adding a new best friend to your family. Applications will be pre-screened and references checked. Most dogs are fostered in Texas until matches are made. Transport is scheduled and paid for by Big Dog Rescue Project to Washington, Oregon, and New Jersey. Let us help you find your next Big Dog! There are always new dogs coming to our attention, so please feel free to contact us if you do not see your perfect match here today.  Because we do not have a kennel facility all dogs are either fostered, or spend time in a doggie daycare facility in Plano TX  interacting with our volunteers before making their way to Washington State.
