Monty is a one-and-a-half-year-old, approximately 65 lb Dutch Shepherd mix, who is a sweet, smart boy. He is very loving and aims to please his humans!<br/><br/>Monty is young and playful. He likes to play fetch the ball and will carry things for you. He likes to have a job to do and be helpful. If you are working on something, he observes, tilts his head, and will pick an item up to bring it to you--he's super supportive! <br/><br/>Since Monty still has puppy energy, he would do well with an active household, and would benefit from more training. A trainer recently assessed him and said that he has great potential to be a work dog or search dog. Monty is dog friendly and people friendly. We haven't seen him with kids, but we think he will do just fine.
