Montgomery is a 5 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy looking for a home! He is located in Bogalusa, Louisiana<br/>Montgomery is the sweetest puppy with the cutest old man whiskers 💙 We're hoping to find him a home with Cocker Spaniel experience! <br/><br/>We've had Montgomery since he was 8 weeks old. When we first got him, he was one of 6 gorgeous puppies we took in along with their mama. Mama Coco was dumped on someone's doorstep when she was pregnant, and that person later contacted us asking for assistance. The puppies had never been to a vet before, so they needed all of their vaccinations before they could be adopted. They also tested positive for coccidia, so we've had them for a while now getting them healthy and ready for adoption. <br/><br/>All of the puppies have been adopted except for Montgomery. The reason he's been with us for so long is because the runt of his litter needed surgery to fix a heart defect (nothing concerning to Monty) and we didnt want to leave him totally alone, so we waited until his brother had his surgery and went to a foster before posting Monty for adoption again. Additionally, he suddenly came down with cherry eye - a hereditary condition he inherited from his mother. We will have the vet fix them surgically while he's under for his neuter very soon. It's common in Cocker Spaniels, so any adopter should be fully aware of the condition in case it comes back. <br/><br/>Monty is the sweetest puppy. <br/>We love him dearly, and really want to see him succeed in life.
