Monkey's Story

This adorable little two year-old boy is ready for his forever home! He is such a handsome, loving, fun little pup. He’s gonna make the best companion! He’s got such a good energy and amazing personality. I got him out of the dreaded Baldwin Park animal shelter, where he was just shut down. It was so sad seeing his videos. There was next to no social media presence for him and I was there for another dog that day so I got him out as well. He got to decompress with one of my amazing trainers and they absolutely fell in love with him. He’s currently in a foster home with a cat and he does really well on his leash walks! Callies Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

The major steps are the adoption application and agreement, the interview(s), the home check, ID and social media verification, the meet and greet, a $600 tax deductible adoption fee, transfer of medical records, and planning the best day to bring your new family member home. We always recommend it be earlier in the day when the home will be calm for a few days. And we are there to guide the family through every step of the decompression and settling-in phase.
